Blender Blunder

I really, really do not want to go into specific details about this mistake. However, the lesson that I learned was this: make sure the blender lid is on tight before pressing any buttons. Thank you! Lesson learned!

I have had some really good Ideas, but this was not one of them

So, when I was babysiting the Kriloff children at my house, I decided it would be fun to make Rice Krispie Treats together! Well, we were out of Rice Krispies (don't ask me how that happened, mom usually keeps a good stock of that stuff.) So, thinking of a solution, I found some Frosted Cheerios and thought that would be a good substitute for Rice Krispies. BOY WAS I WRONG! They did not turn out very well. Actually, they were really quite nasty.
So, I just thought I would share that mistake so that it won't happen again. There truly is no substitute for Rice Krispies if you are going to make Rice Krispie Treats.
The only thing good that came out of that little experiment was spending time with my niece and nephews. They are so much fun, and we had a blast making the gross treat! I guess that is what really counts!
